Digital Access PassWhat is Digital Access Pass?

In a nutshell if you want to run a website that has paying members, then Digital Access Pass is the Gate Keeper to that site and your site’s content is what’s locked behind that gate. But, what distinguishes DAP from other software is the way it can grant access to members. Content is king, that’s why people flock to your site, but if members have access to everything on your site from day one, unless you have the resources to continually add content, then pretty soon your membership is going to dwindle because there will be nothing left to keep their interest.

DAP takes a time release approach to content called ContentResponder, and can apply it to each member individually. Content can be divided into tiers, like cable channel packages. And then based on whatever criteria you proscribe, their access to that content can be increased accordingly. DAP also allows you to target members who may decide to cancel their membership to allow them continued access to what they have already paid for, with the knowledge that should they reactivate their account, they get access to the next tier. It means that each one of your members gets that same experience from the moment they join, even though they joined months apart. It also means that you can exploit your content to its fullest potential.

DAP is very buggy. Does not work with a themes. Does not protect categories without messing up the display. Poor support. Very displeased. IMO it is the worst membership script out there. Still looking for a better alternative. Any suggestions.

    John,

You wrote: “Does not work with a themes”

DAP works with 99.99% of the themes out there. I don’t want to sound cocky by saying 100%, because obviously I haven’t tried all themes out there :-)

So instead of making un-substantiated claims as an anonymous user – which only makes you sound like a troll or like a frustrated competitor who would do anything to malign the competition instead of playing fair – why don’t you identify yourself, and tell us about your “real” experience with DAP (assuming you even tried DAP in the first place)?

To all of the others reading this: After all, it’s the internet. We cannot hide the truth. So just do a google search about us and read any review, and we have nothing but the best comments about our support and software. Or go to our testimonials page and see for yourself. We wouldn’t have the kind of glowing reviews we have if we were even half as bad as this guy says.

Oh well, if trolls like this are starting to show up, then sounds like DAP is seriously affecting someone’s sales :-)

More power to DAP then :-)

Be careful doing business with DAP. I asked for support, they could not help, I got a little mad as I just paid $300 and then after 3 weeks of building my site they just pulled out and said they won’t work with someone who as nasty!! lol Nasty when I am asking for help ASAP please. Nasty when they ask me for log in details I gave them 5 times already! So if you looking fro a new friends and not a real business partner who will help you instead of cancelling your subscription when you have deadlines and are under pressure, then buy DASP, otherwise go with something else. I don’t know yet I now have to start all over! Any suggestions!

  6. “mark” left this same comment at several other DAP review sites. On at least one he was busted from trolling and then “updated us all” saying he’s been helped.

I think Ravi must really be making a great product otherwise these trolls wouldn’t be anonymously attacking it. So far, DAP is at the top of my list, I’ve already thrown away Wishlist because it was crap, Rapid Action Press, which ties in to Rapid Action Profits is the closest thing to DAP I’ve found, but it’s lacking some of the very great features such as ContentResponder system that not only schedules content release, but also email release…I mean, how cool is that?!

I’m still plucking up the courage to put down the $$$ for DAP after having spent all that money previously only to have it not really be what I needed, and have it take so long to set up that I couldn’t get my money back from those other products as well. My only issue with DAP is that it doesn’t tie in with Rapid Action Profits, which I use a lot.

Keep up the great work Ravi!
